Governor of Nineveh, Abdul Qadir Al-Dakhil, considered that Prime Minister Ali Al-Zaydi's visit to Turkey achieved significant results in the electricity and oil export files, noting that it contributed to supplying Iraq with 600 megawatts distributed equally among three governorates.

Al-Dakhil stated in a press statement followed by the news agency that "Prime Minister Ali Al-Zaydi's visit to Turkey was fruitful," indicating that "the first results were represented by connecting the Turkish line to the national grid and introducing 600 megawatts of electrical power, even before signing the contract, which reflects the level of political appreciation shown by the Turkish government for the diplomacy led by the Prime Minister during the visit."
He added that "the imported energy was distributed as 200 megawatts for Nineveh Governorate, 200 megawatts for Kirkuk Governorate, and 200 megawatts for Salah al-Din Governorate," noting that "among the most prominent outcomes of the visit is also the commencement of steps to resume oil exports via Turkey."
