The Nineveh Governor, Abdul Qadir Al-Dakhil, considered that Prime Minister Ali Al-Zaydi's visit to Turkey achieved significant results in the fields of electricity and oil export, noting that it contributed to providing Iraq with 600 megawatts distributed equally across three provinces.

Al-Dakhil stated in a press statement followed by the News Video Agency that "the visit of the Prime Minister Ali Al-Zaydi to Turkey was fruitful," indicating that "the first results of it were the connection of the Turkish line to the national grid and the entry of 600 megawatts of electricity, even before the contract was signed, which reflects the extent of the political appreciation expressed by the Turkish government for the diplomacy led by the Prime Minister during the visit."
He added that "the imported energy was distributed, with 200 megawatts for Nineveh province, 200 megawatts for Kirkuk province, and 200 megawatts for Salah al-Din province," indicating that "one of the most prominent outcomes of the visit was also the commencement of steps to resume oil export through Turkey."
