The Governor of Nineveh, Abdul Qadir Al-Dakhil, considered that Prime Minister Ali Al-Zeidi's visit to Turkey achieved important results in the fields of electricity and oil export, noting that it helped supply Iraq with 600 megawatts distributed equally among three provinces.

Al-Dakhil stated in a press statement followed by the News Video Agency that "the visit of Prime Minister Ali Al-Zeidi to Turkey was fruitful," noting that "the first results were manifested in connecting the Turkish line to the national grid and introducing 600 megawatts of electricity, even before the contract was signed, which reflects the level of political appreciation shown by the Turkish government for the diplomacy led by the Prime Minister during the visit."
He added that "the imported energy was distributed with 200 megawatts to Nineveh province, 200 megawatts to Kirkuk province, and 200 megawatts to Salahuddin province," indicating that "one of the most notable outcomes of the visit was also the initiation of steps to resume oil exports via Turkey."
