The Directorate of Volunteering at the Ministry of Interior announced today, Wednesday, the opening of applications for the qualifying course (32) at the Higher Institute for Security and Administrative Development for bachelor’s degree holders of both genders (males and females) graduating from the academic years (2024-2025) and (2025-2026).
The directorate stated in a statement received by the News Video Agency that the application window opens from August 6 to August 12, 2026, according to specific rules and conditions. Among them, the applicant must be an Iraqi by birth with Iraqi parents, and the civilian applicant’s age must be at least 19 years and not more than 25 years, while members of the internal security forces may apply up to the age of 27.
The statement clarified that the conditions include passing medical, drug, physical fitness, computer tests, psychological tests, and interviews with the selection committees, in addition to criminal and moral conditions, and that the height for males should not be less than 168 cm and chest width should be at least 80 cm, while the height for females is set at 155 cm.
The directorate added that admission will rely on a descending order of higher averages according to the population ratio of the provinces announced by the Ministry of Planning, indicating that applications must be submitted electronically via the official Ministry of Interior website. It urged interested individuals to review the required scientific specializations and keep the application number to follow up on acceptance procedures.
