The Meteorological Authority announced today, Thursday, details of the weather situation across the country for the next four days, while expecting temperatures to continue rising until next week.
A statement from the authority, received by the News Video Agency, said that "the weather on Friday and Saturday will be clear, with temperatures similar to the previous day."
The statement continued, stating that "the maximum temperatures for tomorrow, Friday, in all provinces of Iraq are as follows: Duhok and Sulaymaniyah 41, Erbil 43, Nineveh, Kirkuk, and Anbar 44, Salah al-Din 46, Baghdad, Diyala, Karbala, and Najaf 47, Babylon, Wasit, Diwaniyah, and Al-Muthanna 48, and Maysan, Dhi Qar, and Basra 49."
It added that "next Sunday, the weather will be generally clear with some clouds appearing in the southern region at times, with temperatures similar to what was recorded the previous day."
It indicated that "the weather on Monday will be generally clear with some clouds appearing in the central and southern regions at times, and temperatures will rise slightly compared to what was recorded the previous day across the country."
