The Judicial Council stated in a statement received by the Video News Agency that "the President of the Supreme Judicial Council, Judge Faiq Zidan, received the Director of the Office of the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Lieutenant General Abdul Amir Al-Shammari.”
The statement added that "the council president congratulated Lieutenant General Abdul Amir Al-Shammari on his new appointment, and during the meeting, he discussed with him the legal measures that ensure the achievement of the rule of law and support security stability in the country."
