The State Administration Coalition held its thirty-seventh regular meeting in the government palace, attended by the President of the Republic, the Prime Minister, the Speaker of the House of Representatives, the Head of the Supreme Judiciary Council, and the Kurdistan Region of Iraq, to discuss the overall political, security, economic, and service situations in the country.

The media office of the Prime Minister stated in a statement received by the Video News Agency that "Prime Minister Ali Falih Al-Zaydi hosted the thirty-seventh regular meeting of the Coalition for Managing the State, with the attendance of the President of the Republic, the Speaker of the House of Representatives, the Head of the Supreme Judiciary Council, the President of the Kurdistan Region of Iraq, and coalition leaders from Iraqi national forces, where the overall political, security, economic, and service situations in the country, regional developments, and their reflections on Iraq were discussed.”
He added that "the Prime Minister reviewed at the beginning of the meeting, efforts to enhance security and stability, improve services, implement the ministerial program, and confront economic and financial challenges, emphasizing that the government prioritizes protecting citizens' interests.”
The statement pointed out that "the State Administration Coalition confirmed its support for continuing efforts to maintain security and stability, and efforts aimed at restricting weapons to the state according to the ministerial program that was voted on by the House of Representatives and became a law in effect, and preventing the use of Iraqi territory as a base for aggression against neighboring countries or dragging Iraq into conflicts that do not serve the interests of its people,” noting that “the coalition considers that those who engage in this behavior are committing a crime that threatens the country's security and will be among those outside the law who must be fought according to the constitutional articles that prohibit using weapons outside the state's authority or forming any armed organization outside the official armed forces.”
The statement continued: "While the attendees condemned the attacks against the units of the Iraqi armed forces and the martyrdom of several of its members, they called for adherence to the timelines for restricting weapons after September 30, 2026, after which any armed behavior outside the scope of the state will be dealt with according to the Anti-Terrorism Law.”
It indicated: "The meeting also discussed economic and financial conditions, the necessity of taking measures to ensure the continuation of essential services and projects, diversifying oil export outlets, enhancing non-oil revenues, and combating waste, smuggling, and corruption.”
The statement added: "On the regional level, the meeting affirmed Iraq's support for efforts to de-escalate and dialogue in the region, its rejection of the use of force in settling disputes, and its readiness to play a positive role in bridging viewpoints between conflicting parties, contributing to preserving regional security and protecting common interests.”
