The head of the Counter-Terrorism Service, Lieutenant General Zaid Houshi Al-Mousawi, met with the commander of the Federal Police Forces, Lieutenant General Muhammad Qasim Al-Fahd, to discuss enhancing joint security coordination.
A statement from the Counter-Terrorism Service, which the news agency received a copy of, indicated that "the head of the Counter-Terrorism Service, Lieutenant General Zaid Houshi Al-Mousawi, received the commander of the Federal Police Forces, Lieutenant General Muhammad Qasim Al-Fahd, at the Service's headquarters. They discussed several files of mutual interest, primarily enhancing security coordination and developing mechanisms for cooperation between the two institutions."
He added that "the meeting included discussions on ways to unify efforts in carrying out security duties and exchanging experiences and information, which contributes to raising the level of readiness and enhancing the ability to face security challenges," noting that "both sides affirmed the importance of continuing coordination and integration among various security formations to enhance stability and maintain the achievements made in combatting terrorism and consolidating the rule of law."
