The major bodybuilding and fitness championship in Iraq concluded today, Saturday, in Kirkuk, organized by the Iraqi National Bodybuilding Federation from August 27 to 29, 2026.
The championship featured 800 competitors from various provinces of Iraq, showcasing strong competition and outstanding skills in the youth and advanced categories.
In the advanced category, the Police Mechanisms team claimed first place, followed by the Al-Walaa Sports team in second, Samarra Club in third, Al-Bahri Club in fourth, Al-Zawraa Club in fifth, and Al-Hashd Al-Shaabi Club in sixth.
In the youth category, the Air Force team took first place, with Samarra Club in second, Air Defense Club in third, Al-Zawraa Club in fourth, Al-Mithaq Club in fifth, and the Teachers Club in sixth.
The championship serves as an important milestone in the preparations of athletes and national teams for upcoming competitions, particularly the World and Asian Championships.
