The spokesperson for the Iranian Armed Forces, Brigadier General Sardar Shakarji, announced today, Monday, that hundreds of American military personnel have been killed and thousands more injured during the attacks carried out by Iranian forces, confirming Tehran's determination to continue responding to the United States.
Shakarji stated in a statement monitored by the News Video Agency that the claims made by U.S. President Donald Trump regarding the Strait of Hormuz are "baseless and based on illusions and wishes," emphasizing that the United States will not be able to impose its control over the strait.
He added that Iran's enemies were aware of the country's power before launching the attacks, yet they proceeded to immerse themselves in a "quagmire" from which they cannot escape, stressing that the Iranian Armed Forces will continue to counter the attacks.
Shakarji pointed out that American military personnel are suffering from frustration, and that many of them are serving in the military under coercion, affirming that the army that faces the Iranian forces, which are motivated and faithful, "will ultimately be defeated."
The spokesperson for the Iranian Armed Forces confirmed that his country is determined to expel American forces from the West Asia region, threatening to avenge the martyr Imam and the martyrs of the attacks in Minab and Lar, in addition to the civilians who fell during the confrontations.
Shakarji stated that the response "may be delayed or expedited, but it will definitely happen," referring to the continuation of Iranian military operations against the United States.
