The Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs announced today, Monday, the launch of salaries for guaranteed retired workers for the month of September, in Baghdad and the provinces, after completing the payment procedures.
Kholoud Hairan Fanjan, the Director General of the Retirement and Social Security for Workers Department, stated in a statement received by the Video News Agency that the department has completed all the procedures related to launching the salaries for guaranteed retired workers, noting that the payment started from noon today, Monday, August 31, 2026.
Fanjan called on all eligible retirees to visit the approved payment outlets to receive their salaries after completing the financial and administrative procedures related to the payment.
The Ministry of Labor confirmed its continued follow-up on the issue of salaries for guaranteed retirees and its work to ensure the regular payment of their financial entitlements according to established procedures.
