The Communications and Media Commission announced today, Tuesday, a temporary suspension of the toll-free number (177) for 72 hours to conduct regular maintenance and development work on the systems linked to the service.

The Commission stated in a statement received by the News Video Agency that this suspension is part of its plans to improve communication channels with citizens and enhance the efficiency of the complaint receiving and processing system, emphasizing that the suspension is limited to the toll-free number only during the specified period, and that the service will resume as soon as the maintenance and development work is completed.

It added that citizens can continue to submit complaints related to communication and internet services via the (CMC Speed Test) application, which allows for reporting and measuring the quality and speed of the connection, in addition to the possibility of submitting electronically through the official website of the Commission's complaints. It noted that specialized teams will continue to monitor all complaints received through alternative channels during the suspension period.
