Ghalibaf reveals the frustration of an American plot on Iran's western borders.

Iranian Parliament Speaker Mohammad Baqer Qalibaf revealed today, Tuesday, the thwarting of an American conspiracy aimed at launching security and military operations against Iran from the western borders in the Kurdistan region of Iraq.

Qalibaf stated during his meeting with the leader of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan, Pavel Talabani, in remarks reported by the News Video Agency that the Americans were tempted to carry out operations against the country during the 40-day conflict, affirming that this conspiracy was thwarted thanks to the assistance of friends in the region and the swift response of the Iranian armed forces.

Qalibaf added that the United States and the Zionist entity are constantly striving to sow seeds of division among neighboring countries, particularly between Iran and Iraq, especially in the current circumstances, pointing out that these attempts have intensified following their forced withdrawal from Iraqi territories and airspace.
