The salary of a martyr is received while she is alive.. Parliamentary demand to raise the membership of the Baghdad Council for Wissam Al-Dulaimi "Documents"

Member Ali Jabar Hafiz Al-Azirjawi called today, Wednesday, on the Chairman of the Baghdad Provincial Council to take the necessary measures to revoke the membership of council member Wissam Mohammed Ibrahim Al-Dulaimi, based on the oversight role and articles of the Iraqi Constitution and the Law of the Council of Representatives.

Al-Azirjawi stated in a statement received by the News Video Agency that the request was based on a letter from the Ministry of Health and a letter from the Integrity Commission, which included the existence of an investigation against the Baghdad Provincial Council member for alleged legal violations and receiving amounts in conflicting capacities, including the status of a martyr.

He added that these actions constitute a forgery crime that is dishonorable and does not align with the status of a member or official in the Provincial Council, necessitating a prompt resolution of the file.

He continued that the Presidency of the Baghdad Provincial Council has been given seven days to inform him of the actions taken regarding the revocation of membership and the completion of the legal matters.
