Prime Minister Ali Falah Al-Zeidi chaired a meeting today, Tuesday, with senior staff from the Ministry of Health, attended by its Minister Abed Hussein Aziz Al-Moussawi and member of the Health Committee Adelah Hamoud Hussein.
The media office of the Prime Minister stated in a statement received by the News Video Agency that the meeting discussed the reality of health services in hospitals and health centers, ways to enhance the level of services provided to citizens, and addressing health needs and priorities.
The Prime Minister also directed the provision of appropriate financial allocations for the Ministry of Health, enabling it to secure medicines and medical supplies, including cancer medications, heart disease treatments, and chronic illnesses, as well as supplies for kidney medications and dialysis, ensuring the continuity of health services and meeting patients' needs.
The statement also noted that the Prime Minister directed preparations to meet all operational requirements for the new hospitals that will be completed and opened in the coming months.
