The Finance Committee announces details in the budget regarding contract appointments and the increase of the dollar.

The parliamentary finance committee confirmed today, Tuesday, that Finance Minister Faleh Sari reiterated the establishment of all contracts to permanent staffing and the conversion of wages to the 315 contract system.

Committee member Ribwar Orahman stated in a press interview seen by the "Video News Agency" that "the committee discussed the minister of finance regarding the budget items and clarified that all employee salaries are secured."

He noted that "the minister pointed to the diversity of oil export sources and the stability of the government program due to the stability of the quantities of exported oil and the ability to cover the budget deficit."

He added that "the exchange rate of the dollar has not yet been determined and negotiations are ongoing in this regard," indicating that "the proposed ceiling for the exchange rate ranges between 1400 - 1500 dinars."

Regarding the confirmation of contracts and wages, Orahman clarified that "the finance minister confirmed the establishment of all contracts to the staff and the conversion of wages to contract 315, in addition to creating 100,000 contracts in the budget, 50,000 of which are allocated to the security forces and 50,000 others for civilian jobs."
