The traffic department issues a warning to drivers and specifies safety guidelines during the dust wave.

The General Traffic Directorate called on drivers today, Tuesday, to exercise caution and pay attention while driving, coinciding with the spread of dust and a decrease in visibility on several roads.

The Directorate stated in a statement received by the News Video Agency that it urges drivers to adhere to reducing their speed in accordance with visibility and road conditions, to maintain a safe distance between vehicles, and to use appropriate lights while driving.

The statement added the necessity of avoiding overtaking and sudden maneuvers, stopping in a safe place when visibility is severely reduced, and not stopping on the road or its shoulders in a way that puts others at risk.

The Directorate urged contacting the emergency number 911 when needed, emphasizing that following traffic rules preserves lives and property.
