The Yemeni armed forces announced today, Sunday, the execution of four qualitative military operations using several ballistic and cruise missiles, as well as drones targeting airports and oil sites, in response to airstrikes targeting the capital, Sana'a, and several governorates.
The spokesman for the Yemeni armed forces, Brigadier General Yahya Saree, stated in a statement received by the news agency that the first operation targeted King Khalid Airport in Riyadh in three phases, resulting in the disruption of air traffic. The second operation targeted the Shuqaim gas station belonging to Aramco in the Eastern Province, leading to fires at the site. The third operation targeted the Aramco Tanajib oil facility in the Eastern Province, while the fourth operation targeted King Fahd Airport in Dammam, causing a disruption in air traffic.
He added that his forces carried out a qualitative targeting operation against military gatherings in the Al-Rass Al-Arrah and Al-Suqiya areas with six ballistic missiles and two drones, resulting in casualties and injuries, in addition to responding to military formations with several locally-made surface-to-air missiles, forcing them to retreat.
Saree warned all global companies, travelers, and workers against the danger of operating flights towards unsafe airports except for the holy areas in Mecca and Medina, emphasizing the continuation of the escalating operations of the armed forces and the establishment of the equation of siege with siege and escalation with escalation until the operations cease and the siege ends.
