The Ministry of Defense announces the date for the payment of compensation for the wounded for batch 81.

The Ministry of Defense announced today, Monday, the completion of the necessary procedures for the disbursement of compensation for the wounded for batch (81) on the upcoming Wednesday for those included whose statistical numbers are listed in the records.
The ministry stated in a statement received by the Video News Agency that the General Directorate of Budget and Programs has completed the proper procedures for disbursing the compensation, under the supervision of Defense Minister Naif Al-Shammari.
The compensation will be disbursed on Wednesday, October 21, 2026, at eleven o'clock in the morning, in the General Secretariat hall at the Ministry of Defense.
The ministry confirmed that this step is part of fulfilling the military institution's commitments towards the wounded members of the armed forces, in appreciation of their sacrifices in defending Iraq and ensuring its security and sovereignty, and in order to guarantee their entitlements and care.
