The Iraqi government confirmed today, Monday, its commitment to enforcing the law and initiating criminal complaints against anyone who engages or participates in media incitement or obstructs the decisions related to arms control. It emphasized that the freedom of opinion, expression, and media work, which are constitutionally and legally guaranteed, must be exercised within the framework of the law and with respect for public order, and should not be used as a means to incite violence or support illegal groups.
