Iraqi-Romanian security meeting to discuss cooperation prospects in defense areas.

Today, Thursday, the Ministry of Interior discussed prospects for joint cooperation with the Romanian side in several areas of mutual interest, particularly concerning defense industries and equipment, during a meeting held at the ministry's headquarters.

The ministry stated in a statement received by the Video News Agency that the meeting was chaired by the Director General of Planning and Follow-up, attended by the Director General of Contracts and the Director of the International Cooperation Directorate, while the Romanian delegation included the Ambassador of Romania to Iraq, the Romanian military attaché, and representatives of "Rom Arm" defense industries.

It added that the meeting addressed ways to enhance cooperation and joint coordination, and to learn about the company's products and capabilities in the field of defense industries.

It continued that the discussions aimed at understanding the available technologies and solutions and the potential to benefit from them according to the needs of the Ministry of Interior.
