Oil Minister Basim Mohammed Khudair Al-Abadi directed today, Friday, department and branch managers in Baghdad and provinces to maintain a continuous field presence at fuel stations and to monitor the operations of oil derivatives supply.
The ministry stated in a statement that "Minister Al-Abadi directed the managers of departments and branches in Baghdad and provinces to maintain a continuous field presence at fuel stations, monitor the supply operations of oil derivatives, and directly supervise the performance of the stations and distribution outlets."
The minister emphasized that "the field presence and direct follow-up represent a constant working practice, contributing to ensuring a smooth supply, addressing any observations or emergency cases immediately, and maintaining the stability of citizens' fuel supply."
He added, “Inspection and monitoring teams continue their daily field rounds to identify violations, diagnose observations and address them, while fuel stations are witnessing a smooth supply process and a stable availability of oil derivatives.”
