The Ministry of Interior clarified today, Friday, the truth about a video circulating on some social media platforms, showing a woman believed to be a beggar abusing a child she is carrying and hitting him.

The ministry stated in a statement received by the "Video News Agency" that "the specialized monitoring and analysis authorities in the Ministry of Interior have confirmed that the circulated video is not from inside Iraq, but from one of the neighboring countries."

The ministry reiterated the importance of "ensuring accuracy when publishing or sharing news and video clips and verifying their official sources."
