The head of the National State Forces Alliance, Mr. Ammar al-Hakim, affirmed today, Saturday, that Iraq faces three priorities after the end of the international coalition's mission, pointing out that events in the region are breath-taking.

Mr. Hakim said during a session of the Baghdad Diwan for political, social, and governmental elites, "The events in the region are breath-taking," indicating that "everyone is asking where the region is heading if a war breaks out again between the Islamic Republic and the United States."

He added that "many countries, including Iraq, are playing a role in stopping the war between Tehran and Washington," emphasizing that "Iraq is the biggest beneficiary of stopping the war."

He continued that "Iraq faces three priorities after the end of the international coalition, which are: how to reassure all Iraqi components, secondly, to maintain security stability, and thirdly, to address arms outside the state."
