The President of the Republic, Nizar Amidi, and the Secretary-General of the Badr Organization, Hadi al-Amiri, emphasized today, Sunday, the importance of continuing dialogues and consultations among political forces, which contributes to establishing stability and strengthening national unity.
The media office of the Presidency stated in a statement received by the Video News Agency that "President Nizar Amidi met in Baghdad with the Secretary-General of the Badr Organization, Hadi al-Amiri, in the presence of Minister of Justice Khalid Shwani."
The statement added that "the meeting discussed the latest developments in the political, security, and economic situations in the country, reiterating the necessity of continuing dialogues and understandings among political forces to enhance stability and support national unity."
It pointed out that "the two sides discussed the importance of supporting the democratic process and intensifying joint efforts to face current challenges that meet the aspirations of citizens and safeguard Iraq's higher interests."
