Reuters reported on Sunday that a building belonging to the Saudi Aramco oil company inside the King Abdullah Financial District (KAFD) in the capital Riyadh sustained damage due to a projectile strike.
The agency noted that the projectile caused damage to the building's glass facade, resulting in shattered glass in several floors, indicating that the incident followed the sound of loud explosions heard in various areas of the capital Riyadh.
The King Abdullah Financial District, located north of Riyadh, is one of the most prominent economic and commercial centers in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, featuring skyscrapers, offices for global companies, commercial offices, shopping centers, and recreational areas, as well as residential complexes and a major station for the Riyadh Metro network.
