Iraqi female judges sponsor the Geneva Summit for the Protection of Children in Armed Conflict.

The Iraqi Association of Women Judges announced today, Sunday, that it is participating as one of the official sponsors of the Global Summit on Preventing the Recruitment of Children and Protecting Children Affected by Armed Conflicts, scheduled to be held in Geneva, Switzerland, next October.

The association's management stated in a statement received by the news agency Video that the summit represents a high-level international platform for dialogue and cooperation with the United Nations on issues related to protecting children affected by armed conflicts, as well as the application of international humanitarian law and human rights.

The association clarified that its sponsorship of this initiative reflects its unwavering commitment to enhancing the protection of children in times of conflict, supporting the rule of law and justice, stating that this participation embodies the growing role of Iraqi women judges in shaping global legal dialogue and expanding avenues for international judicial cooperation.
