Iraqi Foreign Minister Foad Hussein arrived in Jordan today, Wednesday, to participate in the Arab ministerial meeting regarding Jerusalem.

The ministry stated in a statement received by the Video News Agency, that "Foreign Minister Foad Hussein has arrived in the Jordanian capital, Amman, to participate in the Arab ministerial meeting dedicated to discussing the latest developments related to Jerusalem and coordinating Arab positions regarding issues of mutual interest."
It added that "the minister is scheduled to participate in the meetings, which discuss ways to enhance Arab efforts aimed at protecting Jerusalem and preserving its Arab and Islamic identity, in addition to discussing related developments concerning the Palestinian issue."
It clarified that "Foad Hussein will hold a series of bilateral meetings on the sidelines of the meeting with several of his Arab counterparts, as well as senior officials in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, to discuss bilateral relations between Iraq and those countries, and exchange views on key regional and international issues, which contributes to enhancing cooperation and joint coordination."
