The Iraqi Minister of Foreign Affairs, Fuad Hussein, arrived in Jordan today, Wednesday, to participate in the Arab ministerial meeting regarding Jerusalem.

The ministry stated in a statement received by the News Video Agency that "Foreign Minister Fuad Hussein has arrived in the Jordanian capital Amman to participate in the Arab ministerial meeting dedicated to discussing the latest developments related to the city of Jerusalem and to coordinate Arab positions on issues of mutual interest."
It added that "the minister is scheduled to participate in the meeting, which aims to enhance Arab efforts to protect the city of Jerusalem and preserve its Arab and Islamic identity, in addition to discussing developments related to the Palestinian issue."
It explained that "Fuad Hussein will hold a series of bilateral meetings with a number of his Arab counterparts, as well as senior officials in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, to discuss bilateral relations between Iraq and those countries and exchange views on key regional and international issues, contributing to enhancing cooperation and joint coordination."
