President Nizar Amidi emphasized today, Wednesday, the importance of deepening the foundations of understanding among political forces and intensifying joint efforts to establish security and stability, as well as supporting state institutions to create a conducive environment for achieving development and meeting the aspirations of citizens.
The media office of the presidency stated in a statement received by the Video News Agency that President Nizar Amidi received in Baghdad the Secretary-General of the Asa'ib Ahl al-Haq Movement, Qais al-Khazali, to discuss the overall political, security, and economic situation in the country, along with ways to support the government in implementing its ministerial program.
During the meeting, Amidi indicated, according to the statement, that the current phase requires prioritizing national interest, uniting efforts, and working with a sense of responsibility to maintain the unity and sovereignty of Iraq.
For his part, al-Khazali affirmed the importance of continuing dialogue and coordination among national forces and supporting everything that would enhance Iraq’s stability, protect its people’s interests, contribute to overcoming current challenges, and drive the wheel of construction and development.
