Mohamed El Tajy was born in Cairo on April 28, 1958, and began his artistic journey in the 1970s, before establishing his presence in numerous dramatic, cinematic, and theatrical works, becoming one of the distinguished faces in Egyptian art.
El Tajy's name is associated with a prestigious artistic family, as he is the grandson of the great artist Abdul Warith Asser, one of the prominent pioneers of acting in Egypt.
El Tajy had spoken on several occasions about his grandfather's influence on shaping his artistic personality, explaining that he was with him during the last years of his life, reading him works due to his poor eyesight, which opened the door for him to the world of acting.
