Yasmin Saif Abou El-Naga, daughter of the great Egyptian artist Naglaa Fathy and her husband Saif Allah Abou El-Naga, passed away this evening, Sunday, after suffering from a severe heart attack.
The family mourned the deceased with touching words, as her father Saif Abou El-Naga announced her passing after a sudden health crisis, stating that the funeral and burial ceremonies will take place tonight after the Isha prayer.
Artist Naglaa Fathy married engineer Saif Allah Abou El-Naga in the mid-1970s, following her first marriage to Ahmed Khalil.
Saif Abou El-Naga is the older brother of artist Khaled Abou El-Naga, and he had a famous and unique cinematic presence, portraying the character "Mustafa," the eldest son of artist Faten Hamama in the famous film "Empire of M" in 1972.
Despite the great success achieved by the film, he did not continue in acting and preferred to stay away from the spotlight, focusing on his primary profession as an architect.
This marriage resulted in the birth of their only daughter, Yasmin, after which the couple separated.
Later, artist Naglaa Fathy married late media personality and journalist Hamdi Qandil in 1992, and their marriage lasted until his death.
