The specialized investigation court in Ramadi, dealing with integrity issues, revealed on Monday the manipulation of the sale procedures for a property belonging to the State Real Estate Department in Anbar province, covering an area of 400 dunams.
The specialized judge stated, according to a statement issued by the Iraqi judiciary media received by the Al-Fadeed News Agency, and reported to Shafaq News Agency, that the investigation revealed manipulation in the assessment of the property's financial value, resulting in a financial discrepancy estimated at (18,433,200,000) eighteen billion and four hundred thirty-three million and two hundred thousand Iraqi dinars, which was squandered in favor of the manipulators at the expense of public funds, and that the operation was carried out in collaboration and joint coordination with the Anbar investigation office of the Integrity Commission.
Yesterday, Sunday, the Federal Integrity Commission announced its success in stopping the sale procedures for two properties in Anbar province at prices lower than the prevailing rates, indicating that its actions helped prevent the waste of more than four billion and a half billion dinars of public money.
