The disciplinary committee of the Iraqi Football Association responded today, Wednesday, to the objection submitted by Diyala Club against Al-Karma Club regarding a violation of regulations in modifying the players' list before their last match.

The disciplinary committee stated in a statement received by Video News Agency that the changes made by Al-Karma Club, which involved removing one player and adding another, were done within the legally allowed time and before reaching the critical time set at ninety minutes before the match kick-off.

It added that the third paragraph of Article 69, which Diyala Club objected to, does not apply to the incident as it pertains strictly to changes made in critical time, making the procedures of Al-Karma Club correct and compliant with the regulations.

It continued that the decision was made unanimously to dismiss the objection based on the provisions of the disciplinary and ethical regulations for the current season, noting that the decision is subject to appeal within the legal timeframe.
