The artist Majed Al Masri announced the death of his grandson Younes, the son of his son Ahmed Majed Al Masri, just 8 days after his birth, amid mourning among family members.
Majed Al Masri mourned his grandson through the stories feature on his official account on "Instagram," writing: "Indeed, we belong to Allah and indeed to Him we will return. Younes, son of my son Ahmed, is in the mercy of God." Al Masri was seen at the funeral with his son, crying after Friday prayers at Hassan Al Sharbatly Mosque in the New Cairo area.
The news of Younes' death came just a few days after Ahmed Majed Al Masri announced the birth of his twins, Jibril and Younes, on October 2, 2026, an occasion he shared his joy about with his followers on social media.
However, the family lost Younes just 8 days after his birth, while his twin brother Jibril is reported to be alive according to the information released about the incident.
