The exchange rates of the US dollar against the Iraqi dinar rose today, Sunday, in the markets of Baghdad and Erbil, coinciding with the stock market closure.
A correspondent from the Video News Agency reported that the dollar prices in the Kifah and Harithiya markets in Baghdad increased to reach 164,350 dinars for every 100 dollars, compared to 163,300 dinars this morning.
He noted that the selling prices in currency exchange shops in local markets in Baghdad rose, with the selling price reaching 164,750 dinars for 100 dollars, while the buying price recorded 163,750 dinars for 100 dollars.
In Erbil, the dollar prices also increased, with the selling price reaching 164,050 dinars for 100 dollars, and the buying price at 164,000 dinars for 100 dollars.
