FC Barcelona announced that it has signed its third summer transfer after acquiring Anthony Gordon from Newcastle United and Karim Adeyemi from Borussia Dortmund.
Barcelona stated in a release on its official website: "Barcelona and Club Brugge have reached an agreement for the signing of Jessy Pisio, who will join the ranks of the Blaugrana with a contract extending until June 30, 2031, and he will be presented at the club's offices soon."
The young Belgian has a promising future, possessing remarkable attributes such as speed, strength, and dribbling, and like Pisio, he has represented all of Belgium’s youth national teams.
Jessy Pisio first rose to prominence during the UEFA Under-17 Championship in 2025, where he was selected for the tournament's best XI after contributing to Belgium's advancement to the semi-finals.
Pisio began his career with Leuven before moving to Club Brugge in 2020, where he scored 3 goals in the European Youth League over the last two seasons and played 14 matches.
Pisio joined Barcelona at the age of eighteen, becoming the third Belgian player to transition to the first team after Thomas Vermaelen and Fernand Goyaverts.
