The exchange rates for the US dollar recorded an increase today, Tuesday, in the markets of Baghdad and Erbil, with the start of morning trading, amid continued fluctuations in the exchange rate.
In Baghdad, a reporter for the News Video Agency stated that the exchange rate for the dollar in the Kifah and Harithiya stock exchanges rose to 156,600 dinars for every 100 dollars, compared to 156,500 dinars yesterday, Monday.
In the local markets, selling prices at exchange shops stabilized at 157,000 dinars for every 100 dollars, while the purchasing price reached 156,000 dinars.
In Erbil, the dollar recorded a similar increase, with the selling price reaching 156,350 dinars for every 100 dollars, while the purchasing price reached 156,250 dinars.
These movements come at a time when local markets continue to monitor the trends in exchange rates, amid limited discrepancies between stock exchange prices and buying and selling prices at exchange shops.
