The President of the Republic, Nizar Amedi, discussed today, Tuesday, in Baghdad, with the Secretary-General of the Badr Organization, Hadi al-Amiri, the latest developments in the political and security situations in the country and the upcoming constitutional entitlements, in the presence of Minister of Justice Khalid Shwani and the Head of the National Union of Kurdistan Parliamentary Bloc, Harem Kamal.
The media office of the presidency stated in a statement received by the Video News Agency that the meeting emphasized the importance of strengthening understanding and dialogue among national forces and supporting the government in implementing its program by hastening the completion of the ministerial cabinet, which enables state institutions to carry out their tasks and respond to citizens' aspirations.
The statement added that both sides addressed the developments and changes in the region, emphasizing the need to unify national positions regarding the current challenges, in a way that preserves Iraq's interests, security, and stability, and enhances its ability to deal with various developments.
