The spokesman for the Yemeni armed forces, Major General Yahya Saree, announced today, Wednesday, that Saudi warplanes conducted 52 airstrikes and missile attacks over the past 24 hours, which resulted in casualties among women and children.
Saree stated in a statement received by the News Video Agency that the attacks were carried out by "F15" and "Typhoon" aircraft that took off from the Khamis Mushait and Taif bases, in addition to missile aggression launched from Jizan, noting that the provinces of Hodeidah, Taiz, Al-Bayda, Marib, and Saada were targeted.
He added that the strikes caused widespread damage to civilian facilities, which included communication networks, schools, bridges, and roads, pointing out that the total number of airstrikes and missiles from the Saudi aggression has reached 988 since the escalation began.
