Injury prevents Akam Hashem from continuing his journey with Iraq in Gulf 27.

The medical staff of the Iraqi national football team, participating in the Arab Gulf Cup "Gulf 27", announced that the injury will prevent defender Akam Hashim from continuing his journey with the national team in the tournament. 

The medical staff stated in a press interview reviewed by the "Video News Agency" that Akam Hashim will return to Iraq after undergoing the necessary medical examinations and receiving treatment, as the injury will prevent him from playing in the upcoming match against Kuwait and he may not complete his participation with the team for the remainder of the tournament. 

Akam Hashim suffered an injury during the match between the Iraqi team and their Omani counterpart, which was held yesterday, Wednesday, in the first round of the group stage, ending in a positive draw of one goal for each team. 

In this context, medical sources confirmed that Iraqi player Mustafa Saadoun suffered a muscle strain, indicating that he will return to training after completing the necessary medical procedures.
