The Iranian Central Bank: The US Treasury has reached a deadlock in economic pressure.

Iran's Central Bank Governor Abdolnaser Hemmati confirmed that the British government's actions to intensify financial restrictions on five Iranian banks in the UK align with American economic policy, stating that the U.S. Treasury has reached a deadlock in exerting economic pressure on Iran.

Hemmati added that while Britain has intensified restrictions on Iranian banks, some of these banks have had no banking activities related to Iran for years due to U.S. sanctions.

He continued, "It seems that the U.S. Treasury has reached a deadlock in exerting economic pressure on Iran, and various countries, to show their compliance and subservience to the U.S., have once again restricted the activities of banks that have had no banking operations related to Iran for years because of U.S. sanctions.

Hemmati explained, "We had plans to impose restrictions to reduce the expenses of inactive banks abroad.
